Definition

This is both a place at the southern end of the island of Manhattan, NYC and a 1987 movie starring Charlie Sheen and Michael Douglas.

Using the term Wall Street :

Wall Street is a term used worldwide as synonymous with money, power and sometimes corruption. It some ways it is the engine of growth for the world and in other ways, it profits only for itself with sometimes less than scrupulous tactics. Wall Street is a necessary institution though as it provides the mechanism for business to finance its growth which ultimately provides jobs for Americans and others in the world.

Pay Special Attention To :

Michael Douglas played Gordon Gecko (GG) in the movie and you get to learn that insider trading eventually catches up to you. The movie ends with the audience assuming that GG will soon head to jail. There is a rumor that they will make a Wall Street 2 in the near future.
