Definition

This is the risk associated with a judge's track record in deciding cases of companies in bankruptcy or restructuring.

Using the term J-Factor Risk :

The distressed debt private equity fund was happy when they found out that Judge Judy was going to oversee their restucturing case as she greatly diminshed their calculated j-factor risk.
